Daniel Island Club Introduces New Club Cottages

May 15, 2013

The newest amenity at the Daniel Island Club offers on-site luxury accommodations for Club members and guests and the ultimate way to experience the Club lifestyle in Daniel Island Park. The Club Cottages are a collection of three cottage-style structures, located next to the clubhouse overlooking the Grand Lawn and offering views from the back of the 18th hole of the Beresford Creek course.

“This is a project we’ve wanted to do for some time, and we’re extremely pleased at how the Cottages turned out,” said Greg Keating, Vice President of Operations and General Manager of the Daniel Island Club. “We were virtually booked solid the first month after opening in April.”

The Cottages are available by advance reservation to club members and sponsored guests of members. They may be rented as full four-bedroom cottages or in smaller configurations: Couples and smaller groups may rent them as a two-bedroom cottage with full living and kitchen areas or as a one-bedroom suite adjacent to the main cottage.

The Cottages have been finished with well-appointed interiors including wood floors, rich woodwork, vaulted ceilings, porches, luxurious furnishings and outdoor living spaces. The main cottages also include fireplaces and fully-equipped kitchens. Bedrooms feature down bedding and fine Italian linens, along with deluxe granite bathrooms. Perfect for entertaining, the cottages also include flat screen televisions and a wet bar with refrigerator.

Guests staying at the cottages enjoy access to Club amenities, including the comfortably elegant clubhouse with men’s and women’s locker rooms and two dining options: the new gastropub “Harry’s,” featuring fresh seafood and steaks, and a family-style Grill Room. They may also enjoy the Park Club, the club’s swim, fitness and tennis facility, and book tee times on the two championship golf courses.

“There has been a lot of interest in the Cottages from brides who are planning their wedding at the Club and our National members planning weekend golf outings,” says Keating. “They also provide an on-island accommodation option for guests who are actively looking at Daniel Island real estate – it’s a great way to experience the Daniel Island lifestyle for a few days.”
